THE BRIEF

Midland Group Training Services are a training provider for engineering courses and apprenticeships. Our brief entailed the design of a new corporate image, sympathetic to the engineering roots of the business while keeping the existing logo. The Course Directory being the first piece of literature to take the corporate image forward (bottom right).

(www.mgts.co.uk) To design, construct and host the MGTS website. Among the many features this fully loaded training provider site lists all available courses, dates and allows the user to view virtual tours of the facilities and watch testimonials via streaming video.

WEBSITE FEATURES

• Constructed to adhere to WCAG (Website Content Accessibility Guidelines) and the DDA (Disability Discrimination Act)
• Search courses facility
• Content management allows the client to update/add/delete courses and course dates, add/edit/delete categories and sub categories of courses, edit/add/delete navigation menus and upload new testimonial videos
• Data collection – User database can accessed and exported as an Excel spreadsheet for future promotion
• Quicktime VR tours of all the major facilities
• Video streaming testimonials
• Personal data secure: completed booking forms are stored on a secure server for online access and printing by MGTS
