License to Charm is a unique jewellery company offering unique handmade jewellery. The brand includes licensed products such as Wallace and Gromit and Miffy character jewellery. There is a physical retail outlet, however, the main shop window is the ecommerce platform whose selling is leveraged through social media channels and google shopping.
License to Charm required an ecommerce shop window to build their brand and product to the consumer. They required a platform that could scale with their growing product range and was intuitive enough to allow easy filtering of the unique jewellery offering. Whist selling jewellery SEO and social engagement is an important priority.
The solution was a headless Magento setup with a PWA front-end. The front-end user interface is, therefore, more fluid and user-friendly whilst retaining the powerful tracking and metrics of a Magento back-end platform.
This allows the License to Charm team to promote product ranges through channels such as Google shopping/Instagram and funnelling sales into their site. A continued retainer allows Origin to contribute to increasing SEO optimisation, CRO improvements and improving User Experience.
